Jon's on the committee of the ACAM association (Association des Commerçants, Artisans et professions libérales du Monflanquinois) and lent a hand setting up the large tents in the square, to be used as a Christmas market by local craftspeople and producers. Also ACAM manned a bar serving drinks, hot dogs and panninis.

The fete commences with the traditional 'Poulets à la Ficelle' on Saturday morning and sees a funfair running on the cap del Pech from the Friday evening onwards. There was the also the regular art competition for artists from the 4 cantons together with a photographic exhibition in the salle d'Aquitaine, exhibitions at the MJC and a vehicle show by local garages. The local Banda group played (very loudly) in the early evening around the square, bar and restaurants.

This year in addition to the Christmas market there was a climbing wall, childrens' activities and plenty of local stands selling home-made produce.

Thanks partly to the fine weather and the efforts of the local associations the weekend was judged to be a great success.
