AN EXHIBITION IN THE HEART OF THE BASTIDE
In the Salle Aquitaine, an exhibition entitled ‘L'artisanat d'art, une passerelle entre tradition et modernité’ (Arts and crafts, a bridge between tradition and modernity) will offer an insight into the transformation of noble materials and the richness of arts and crafts. Everyday objects crafted with expertise will be on display, illustrating the evolution of craft practices. MEET THE CRAFTSPEOPLE
Throughout the weekend, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the behind-the-scenes world of art and craft. Craftspeople from Monflanquin and the Lot-et-Garonne will be opening their workshops to share their passion and reveal their techniques. Ephemeral workshops’ will also give curious visitors the chance to try their hand at a range of craft techniques.
The POLLEN contemporary art centre will be taking part in the event by presenting ‘PROCENIUIM’, an exhibition by Guillaume JEZY that questions the perception of urban space.
