On the theme of the JEMA 2023 "Sublimating the everyday", the programme proposes a discovery of the transformation and shaping of noble materials, of the know-how of the local craftsmen and to testify to the richness and diversity of the traditional, creative and restoration trades.

The event includes 2 parts:

#An exhibition "Nothing is too good for every day". In gallery mode, the exhibition will be hosted in the Aquitaine room located around and near the Place des Arcades, the heart of the bastide of Monflanquin. This exhibition will reveal the beauty of everyday objects.

The exhibition is entirely free and will be run by the organisers and exhibitors. It will also be a place of information on all the JEMA proposals in the Lot-et-Garonne region: documents, plans, presentations.

It will be open from Friday 31 March to Sunday 2 April all day from 11am to 6pm.

A vernissage will be organised with all the partners on Friday evening at 6.30pm. It will be followed by a concert (free of charge) with the duo ALTER EGO (French song) at the Salle des Consuls.

#A weekend of "open workshops": the art and craft professionals of the bastide have mobilised and will be present in their premises as well as others from the Lot-et-Garonne who have come to participate in the JEMA in Monflanquin. They will be showing their skills, techniques and productions and it will be possible for visitors to sign up for workshops.
