1, 2 or 3 days of watercolour painting and drawing in Monflanquin.
Monday 30th August, Tuesday 31st August and Wednesday 1st September. Book all three days or just one or two - the choice is yours.
Places available as of 27/8/21: Monday: 3 Tuesday: 2 Wednesday: 3
Come for a day's painting or make a mini art holiday. Different subjects painted from life each day.
The focus is on enjoyment with constructive advice.
Ideal for both beginners and improvers. Complete beginners more than welcome.
Each day runs from 10am to 12:30pm, then 13:45 to 16:30.
Lunch is not provided, although we have tables and chairs if you wish to bring your own food, or there are some picnic tables around the edge of the village. Alternatively there are plenty of places to eat in the village at reasonable prices.
We'll be working in pencil or pen, then painting in watercolour. Sessions will start usually with a small demonstration by Jon, then it's your time to paint with as much (or as little) help and advice as you like. Numbers are kept small (max 6 people per day) to give personal attention.
Monday 30th August: Village scene. Drawing and painting in the square of Monflanquin.
Tuesday 31st August: Still life. Drawing and painting objects from life.
Wednesday 1st September: Alleyways and doorways of the village.
Please note that whilst a request for sunshine has been put in, content may change a little depending on the weather.
