Second 5 week block starts 28th February 2018.
On the figure course we will concentrate purely on drawing and painting the (clothed) human figure.
Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, you can work at your own level with as much (or as little) guidance as you like. If you'd just like the company of a regular drawing event, that's fine too.
Participants in the previous course have made fantastic progress even over just a few weeks.
Some work by members of the previous course
Most sessions will begin with a few quick drawings to help 'loosen up', followed by longer studies afterwards. You will have time to work at your own pace with as much help and guidance as you would like.
Starting with charcoal, pastel and pencil we will look at proportion, form and mass.
The main language will be English, but if they can forgive my French, I would welcome any French speakers.
Dates & Venue
The course will run on a Wednesday morning from 09:30 to 12:30, starting on Wednesday 28/2/2018 and finish on Wednesday 28/03/18.
The venue will be the 'old' gallery premises at 60 Rue St Pierre, Monflanquin. Tea and coffee will be provided, but if you prefer fruit/herbal teas etc, please bring whatever you prefer.
The price of the course includes white paper, charcoal, pencils, erasers and a range of hard pastels. You are welcome to bring any other materials you wish to use.
To provide a good level of personal attention and to avoid overcrowding I am limiting the number of places to 6 people. Each 5-week course costs 55€, payable in advance.
